Originally penned by one of the Rats under a solo alias as an instrumental guitar track with interesting samples from a 13th century fortress in Wales. It was then transformed into a hip-hop/grime styled track with the addition of heavier beats & bass and Props’ murky vocals, but with a twist in it’s non-con-formative double chorus feel of vocals followed by guitar. Fast forward 2 years and the song has been updated and refreshed to include some subtle reverse guitars (a favourite technique of the two Rats) and an uplifting synth line which adds to the context of the vocal’s insinuation to overcome adversity and rise above your peers.
