Hey all! Im back with a playlist of my favourite synth tunes of the month. We start with August 2021. I try to keep up with it this time. :) I hope you enjoy!

Released on June 24, 2021. The song has as its theme "The creation of everything", subject and formation.  Inspired by Internet's early Retrowave songs, "Star Dust" brings its cool, slow layer to the ears.

This high octane guitar driven synth bop packs an absolute punch, with ferocious licks, slaps, and guitar riffs combined with a potently catchy melodic topline that highlights ELYXIRs powerful and electric vocal performance. 

Don’t be fooled however, Mother Mania may get you dancing but lyrically there is a dark and dystopian narrative of abuse that can be interpreted in a variety of ways by the listener depending on their life experience. A stellar debut of songwriting and performance from ELYXIR, and the beginning of a new creative journey between the pair of artists.

"Huxley Havoc, a famous 80s movie star was on set for one of his upcoming films. Throughout the entire day he constantly had a feeling of being watched by someone. Then, in a short moment of solitude he was shocked by what he saw as he looked up at the sky. A giant silhouette of a face was hovering right above him. Not only was he confused because of what he was seeing, but also because of this strange feeling of familiarity that overcame him.
Now 40 years later, retired Huxley found a bundle of old VHS Tapes of "behind the scenes" - camera footage, which was recorded during this movie, in an old box. He decides to watch one of the tapes. At one point a high camera angle captures the particular moment where Huxley looked up at the sky...realizing that he was staring at his VHS Reflection."

MARCH 30, 2022 - RADIO DARK TUNNEL SYNTHWAVE SHOW W/COOLMOWEE w/ Russell Nash

Analog power. Made in the epic studio of Maxxerati. Surrounded by drumcomputers and synthesizers from way back in time. I believe the drums are made with the Roland CR-80 human rhythm player and bass, strings and pads from Roland Juno 6. There is a lot of magic in the instruments from back the days.
