The Son of God is in my spirit.
But my mind, emotion, will

So, I thank God that I’m under the process
Of conformation
To the image 
Of the Son of God.

The law of life in me is spreading.

He's now conforming.
So, I open to His working within me

The life of God in me is reigning,
And my natural life in Adam

Now Christ person is maturing within us,

For to me, to live is Christ
And to die is gain.
Praise You Lord, I’m free from the law—
In Your life I’d remain!

Make me one who takes Christ as my all.

Whether through life or through death

The Pattern of Paul

I love you Lord Jesus
Often don't know what to do, but call "O Lord"
Then You come as life
Triune God in my tripartite being
Praise the Lord, He's in me, flowing as life

Problems over problems, things weighing me down
Your goal and purpose I know
Yet still swimming in the deep shallows
What a different water I need
The free water of life
That's Jesus Christ (3x)




The Triune God must become our life and living and a way He can do this is through our drinking of the Lord Jesus as it says in John 7:37 and Rev. 22:17 and he is able to flow through and out of us because we are a tripartite being with a body, soul, and spirit. Many times I find myself drinking a different “water” , whatever it may be, and have to remember there is a living water that contains God’s Spirit of life and that has eternal value. All we need to do is come and drink. He's flowing, we just need to enter in to this flow by loving Him. This was originally written as a prayer but some lines from the prayer resinated with me through time and made it into a song.
