Esoterica is a Lagos based Nigerian indie artist who creates vocal heavy, acoustic sounds inspired by folk, soul and afrobeats. Her music is about her relationship with herself and the world around her, inspired by the artists who she’s listened to since childhood. These include Frank Ocean, Asa and Bill Withers. She sees her audience as a reflection of herself at the different stages of her life. The misunderstood child, the rebellious teenager and the soul searching young woman can all feel seen by her.
