Happy 2023  Everyone!! We will be resuming out of hiatus properly soon, we just ran out of space on our SoundCloud profile. Here's a song that will be on the upcoming album Mulu Lagoon for you all to hear early, even before it's out on Bandcamp because it was in private mode for a long time and it's included in the space we had.

About this one: we wrote a happy song to lift the spirits. <3

Started in 2017, this song's code name was 'Light' for a long time. In 2022 we renamed it to 'Whimsical Escapade' as that's how the eccentric main lead (that Masha added last) made us feel.

Roberto B (@mgxloop and @volt5000) and I present track 11, "The Birth of Space", in our nearly finished album of the autumn of 2022 - and we hope that you'll enjoy it.

The track was created in collaboration on 3 November 2022 (initial composition, recording and mix in MAGIX by Roberto B), 2-3 December 2022 (subsequent composition, additions, arrangement, recording and mix in GarageBand iOS and Logic Pro X by Alex M), 4 December 2022 (further arrangement, recording and mix in MAGIX by Roberto B), and 7 December 2022 (final arrangement, recording and mix in Logic Pro X by Alex M), and posted here on SoundCloud on 10 December 2022 (by Alex M), before the album as a whole.

The artwork cover for the track was designed and completed using PowerPoint and Mac OS Preview by Alex M in MacOS Preview on 20 November 2022 and cropped and annotated on 7 December 2022 by Alex M in Mac OS Preview - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Our recently formed trio now presents our 2nd collaboration. It was, again, the idea of Patrick or DjArtw2001 (@djartw2007), who took the initiative and mixed in MAGIX on 6 March 2023 a part composed by Dan or DAN-DT (@Dan-T-3) - originally, back in 2011 - with part of a collaboration we had on 1 May 2021, "Double Reflection III" (https://soundcloud.com/alexander-mihailov-96713983/double-reflection-iii-roberto-b-alex-m) from our album "Double Reflections" (https://soundcloud.com/alexander-mihailov-96713983/sets/double-reflections) that appeared here on SoundCloud on 20 June 2021. So we release this new track emerging from Patrick's remix under the title suggested by Dan "Complicity". Dan's part comes from "Sacrify", a collaboration of his using the voices of Josh Boyer (FutureAnalysis: https://soundcloud.com/futureanalysis) and Ivan Baskakov (Steklo: https://soundcloud.com/steklovocals), found via the website looperman.com (http://looperman.com/). We hope that you will enjoy the track!

The painting in the artwork cover for the track was created by DAN-DT on 9 March 2023, and then the artwork cover was annotated and completed using PowerPoint and Mac OS Preview by Alex M on 9 March 2023 too - in coordination and agreement with DjArtw2001 and DAN-DT. This track is a remix of a piece that I uploaded in January 2022, which I created using a set of self-imposed limitations. I restricted myself to creating tracks using only one synthesizer, and I only allowed myself to repeat the same loop without expanding it beyond the A section. This was a way for me to find meaning in creating music within a limited workflow and timeframe, as I aimed to upload a new track every day. This experience has allowed me to create music more quickly and efficiently, which I continue to do today using more complex structures consisting of 4-5 sections and utilizing DAW software. Since older tracks tend to get buried on SoundCloud, I came up with the idea of remixing them to create new pieces that I could re-upload. As you can tell, the resulting tracks are much more complex compared to the original versions.  I find it fulfilling to add new interpretations to older works, so I plan on making this a series. I also enlisted the help of my friend Moza for this one. I hope you enjoy it!
