McDaddy is a classically trained musician who got sidetracked by ADHD but is finally starting to get his act together in his first foray into the world of rap music. With musical interests ranging from classical and folk music to backpack rap and EDM, McDaddy brings an eclectic collection of sounds to his performances. Many songs feature beatboxing and oral percussion as well as whistling and other vocalizations which lend an organic feel to the sometimes-otherworldly ambiance of McDaddy’s musicalities. Perceptive listeners might detect the influence of contemporary rap artists like Prof Gampo, Tom MacDonald BBNO$, Shotgun Willy, Son Real, Lil Dicky, and Yung Gravy, as well as many folk influences and just some silly nonsense.
