My first recorded song with my own instrumental
Inspired by my watching of "Ashita no Joe", all sounds in the instrumental are from the anime except for the kick.

This song is a labor of love to one of my absolute favorite genres of music Drum & Bass. I was introduced to the genre sometime ago in my freshman year of college and have been wanting to make my own ever since I heard it and the energy it carried. In honor of those friends I also chose to use some samples from I'm Dreamin by Christopher Williams, another great song those same friends showed me. I have always listened to only half of the lyrics of that song, interpreting it as a call for sleeping instead of dreaming about a romantic interest, I guess I wouldnt be LZYBO/ if I didnt do that. Lastly, Earl Sweatshirt is one of my biggest influences since I started writing hip hop and I had a good time mashing the lyrics and sounds of grief to Christopher Williams.
