Dreams really come true: when we heard Tomemitsu’s beautiful lo-fi indie songs on the cassette “m_o_d_e_s” back in 2013 we fell in love! Especially the track “In Dreams” followed us around for months. Humming it in the subway, singing along in the car.
Many dreams later we found out that our friend and fellow Hamburger Stefan Marx also loves the song and even named an art show after it. Coincidence? Surely not, so together we made the plan to release “In Dreams” on vinyl.
Luckily Tomemitsu himself was very happy with the idea and even allowed RSS Disco to remix the song. The notorious DJ and production trio upped the tempo to head-spinning 99bpm, recorded additional drums & bass and added several minutes of pleasure.
Finally, the two tracks will be released on vinyl for the first time. Screen-printed records, including a poster in a clear sleeve.

The music of Swedish producer Hans Berg often soundtracks sculptural installations produced in collaboration with his partner Nathalie Djurberg.

Working as an artistic duo since 2004, their output comprises animation, public sculpture, immersive environments and now, vinyl recordings taken from these same pieces. Berg brings his experience in house and techno music culture to bear on this cooperative process.

The Secret Garden (2015) featured Alice in Wonderland-worthy characters including a shamanistic, carrot-munching, weed-smoking rabbit, only this time in an interior setting for an Australian Museum, again referencing the external world through handmade flower heads, musically-programmed lighting sequences and a wall-projected waterfall.

Sun Scope, wow what a beautiful piece of music, I'm getting goose bumps listening right now. Deep Melodica man, it flows and grows without getting all complex. This being released right at the tail of 2017 is a game changer in my favorite track of the year. What comes out of Timm Sures and Richard Hampson Camp only can only be described as remarkable. These guys completely work for the love of music. "And to possibly pay for a trip to the White Isle once a year". as Timm put it to me once. Is It Balearic....? ain't just Balearic they're almost punk in their attitude, in the sense there's no big promotional campaign beforehand. The records they put out sell themselves.  Well now here is the link to have a listen to the 5th track on the A side of Sun Scope the ep, Sun Scope.

Sun Scope is a soundtrack to a dreamlike journey through nature. The A side represents morning until dusk. The B side, midnight until dawn. Maricopa drops a beautifully evocative album of mellow electronica on IIB.

Hailing from Hannover in Northern Germany, Daniel aka Bookwood is a relatively new face to the production scene. Following his mesmerizing debut release on URSL records, which received strong praise here (https://bit.ly/2pdm6T2) at Fiction Lab for its subtle magnetism, the new man on the block aims to make another strong impact with the release of his new EP Polysin on Cosmic Society. 

The EPs title track is built around a delicate synth melody that's ebbs and flows
to soft trebles over a subtle ambient backdrop.  Over the course of its five-minute duration we are tempted with this blend of soothing sounds as ever so gradually dubby chords surface from underneath, setting to work in complimenting a range of warm and dreamy elements that evoke misty morning forest ambience.  Marked by a subdued pace and assured emotional quality that makes for crisp, intimate and expansive music, this record paints Bookwood as a producer to watch.

We are welcoming BOOKWOOD to the cosmic family with the release of his new EP POLYSIN.
The title track revs the EP, with deep dubby rushes, smooth waves of soft trebels, and some lovely high & low synths. The BRIGADE remix, takes the track back a notch with a nice heavy bass, that lets the synths flourish. LOSE YOURSELF TO is a melodic track, distinguished by its soft embracing dubs and brief hypnotising vocals. A slight tropical gist is added to the EP by ‘YOU&ME’, with its mellow housy vibe and intense synth vibrations. The remix by SOUKIE & WINDISH’s, is far from mellow, with its funky hard bass & dramatic euphoric beats. Truely an EP for every mood and every occasion.
