This page is a showcase/archive for the work of students who take the elective course MUSI2004 an introduction to songwriting at Newcastle University.
This is a 12-week, 1 semester course offered at Callaghan campus, and is open to both music and non-music students as an elective subject.
The course covers the basic elements of songwriting including chord progressions, lyrics, melodic writing, arranging,textures/instrumentation and some basic information regarding recording and presenting works.
