Stay

Lisa is a NZ artist currently based in Auckland, using her love of music to share stories, inspire and challenge others. Influenced by the power of old soul singers, the crisp directness of pop and the adventurous production of Hip Hop, Lisa aims for honestly at the for borrowing from whatever genre serves her message. 

Her debut single, to be released 14th October 'Stay' is a song that reflects on her own experience with inertia, as she writes of a woman battling self doubt in the face of fear while striving to change and get out of the difficult cycle she finds herself in. 

Lisa loves finding creative ways to make words work together and tell stories from her own experience. While Stay is a song she has written in a more serious tone Lisa also has an edge for crafting songs with a bit of tongue in cheek when it comes to heartbreak, which will be the topic of the music that is to come in 2023.
