For this months show, it’s an excursion into some forgotten 90s Techno gems. It was a very much off the cuff session with no planning, just pulling records off the shelf and mixing them as I found them so it’s a bit rough round the edges, but there’s some real memories in there. Mostly 93-96 material, The sort of tunes I played at Eurobeat 2000, Helter Skelter and Analogue City around that time. It was a real rediscovery for me so I hope you enjoy the journey. Top tracks from Cristian Vogel, Subhead, Claude Young, Mark Bell, DJ Hell, Djungle Fever and the like.

Last wednesday on my Roots Of Rave Show on Kool London, I wanted to pay my respects to an amazing producer who is pretty much responsible for kickstarting my obsession with Techno in 1990. Mark Bell aka LFO (Originally a duo with Gez Varley). Also it gave me a chance to play some of the stuff he made that i don't always get a chance to air on the radio. It's not wall to wall though, there's also a fair bit of other Bleep records from the period when LFO first broke through.. Tracklist coming soon.
Mark Bell. A pioneer in the truest sense of the word who broke new territory with almost every release. Never content to rest on his (considerable) laurels and by all accounts, a wonderful and down to earth man who helped out and inspired many many people. Thank You for the music and rest in peace knowing that you gave so many so much .

Nearly 6 hours, it's the recording of the whole night down at Peckham's Rye Wax, me and Jerome Hill bussin out all shades of the rave new and old b2b from start to finish at JERK. Saying you've got White Line's to Trace's Sonar doesn't even start to scratch the surface. And talking of scratching, there's decksterity a plenty with Jerome bending it. And talking of talking, well, listen in and let the blend of music do it....

So here's my techno set from the KilleKill party at Suicide Circus, Berlin. I played 12-3am and as the club opened at 12 i got to warm up for myself which was fun as i don't often get to play some of these records.. Big thanks to Mark Hawkins for the recording.
All tracks are on vinyl and i'll try to put together a tracklist when i have time, but feel free to ask for IDs and as always all comments are appreciated.
 This was the release party for the Killekill 007 EP by Bill Youngman (who can be heard at the close of the set)
