DUTCH COLLABORATION ESTABLISHED THROUGH A LOVE FOR STRANGER THINGS.


ZURICH August 27 2021 : Ingeborg releases the first remix to Northern Lights in a Duch collaboration with Herman Kuis.  Northern lights is the first single from her debut EP ‘True North’. 

Herman Kuis is an emerging DJ and Producer from Ingeborg's hometown Groningen in the Netherlands. He discovered Ingeborg’s single Northern Lights after her released in november 2019, and reached out for collaboration.

After presenting his first idea to the song, Ingeborg immediately resonated with the penetrating melody lines, catchy beats and retro synthesizer sounds.

The roots of London Tapes began in the snowy mountains of Gimmelwald, Switzerland, where an impromptu piano performance at a mountain hostel touched a guest deeply. That encounter led to an unforgettable invitation to perform at The Moorings—a unique venue on the River Thames with the iconic Tower Bridge as its backdrop.

The live recording of these songs was born from a single rehearsal session at NJP Studios in Zurich, under the masterful guidance of Leoš Gerteis. Captured in one-take recordings, the album blends the intimacy of a live performance with the elegance of Ingeborg’s signature style. These raw, unfiltered moments are a celebration of hope, love, and resilience—perfect companions for the darker days of winter.

Themes & Inspirations
London Tapes explores themes of renewal and light. It is music for reflection, inspired by the beauty of winter landscapes and the warmth of the holiday season. Each track, whether an original composition or a reimagined cover of classics like Fleetwood Mac’s Songbird and Coldplay’s The Scientist, carries the emotion and authenticity that only live music can deliver.

ZURICH, Electronic pop artist Ingeborg has dropped "Love Reign," on June 6, 2025. This bright summer track carries a clever twist. Behind its upbeat sound lies a sharp take on how we showcase relationships on social media in the age of instagram.

The song springs from a fresh collaboration. Swiss producer Andreas "Ghandi" Vetterli crafted the initial beat. UK guitarist Jack Gardiner added authentic reggae flair. The result? A perfect summer groove with a message for your summer playlist!

Ghandi Vetterli | Production & Mixing (Migou Soundpool)

Working from Migou Soundpool, Andreas "Ghandi" Vetterli crafted "Love Reign" with a natural blend of electronic and organic elements. His background in funk and soul, combined with his love for vintage synthesizers, helped shape the track's distinctive summer groove. Building on our previous collaboration on the "Northern Lights" remix, Ghandi's current production brings warmth to the reggae-inspired rhythms in the song, while keeping the song's message clear and authentic.

Jack Gardiner | Guitar

Based in Switzerland, Jack Gardiner brings his thoughtful guitar work to "Love Reign," adding layers of emotion to the track's narrative. Based in Switzerland, Jack's authentic approach to guitar playing has led to meaningful collaborations with artists like Stu Hamm and China Crisis, as well as shared stages with Guthrie Govan and Andy Timmons.

At NJP Studios, Leoš Gerteis mastered "Love Reign," bringing the high quality expertise he applied to my previous releases "London Tapes" and "Root for You." and his impressive portfolio includes work for Swiss music legends Tina Turner and Yello.

Compass is a song about reconnecting with your heart. Many people are ruled by their minds, and have disconnected from their heart when it comes to what they really want from life. Ingeborg speaks from her own experience. Exterior influences and old belief systems, became major triggers, which lead to overthinking, self doubt, anxiety and even depression at a certain moment. Compass is about taking back your power, and  learning to trust your inner guide. The universe has your back.  Compass, is one of the 4 songs on Ingeborg’s upcoming EP and path to enlightenment called True North - A meaningful experience.

True North, is the name of Ingeborg’s upcoming debut EP, that is planned for 2020. The EP consists of 4 songs, of which Northern Lights has been released on 8 november 2019.  Rebel hearts, Crying with the wolves will follow later this year.  The EP  is inspired by artists like Florence and the Machine, Aurora and Massive Attack. The songs are melodic, emotional and tell a special story. The powerful drums resonate like powerful rituals, battlefields and warriors, standing up for freedom of mind body spirit and love.

Ingeborg  is a Dutch Dream Pop musician who moved to Zurich, Switzerland in 2013 to pursue a new life and music. She experiments with soundscapes and electronic elements, whilst keeping her rich, melodical voice at center stage.

I want to make a positive impact by creating music with a meaningful message, that empowers women around the globe to believe in the full potential that resides inside of them.

I want to be the voice for women who have been silenced and speak up on their behalf.

Ultimately I want to create meaningful art, that connects with the heart and provides a beacon to guide women around the globe on their own journey in life, that inspires, and supports them to live it, a meaningful experience.
