What's the end result of all this Facebooking? Where are we headed as a culture of heads-down phone-watchers?
6) Humour is a good way to make your points stick in the reader’s mind.  You don’t need to be totally serious in your approach.  Have fun, be silly, make fun of the subject and try and make the reader laugh.  Making your audience laugh is a good way to get them on your side.

Pigeons rattle their wings against wet rafters exposed to the empty sky.  Not far away, streets bustle.  The streets give way to power-assisted doors.  An avenue encased in aquarium glass.  The air is awash with the whale song of the echoing banal.  The white noise of commerce is a soundboard for the simulacra of music.  We don't listen.  The air conditioners hum in tune with the neuromarketing.  The synthetic horizon is a soft glow of close-up.  Each reflection looks better, stronger, more well adjusted when amongst the products behind the glass.  There are no barriers.  We are items of desire.  We are egg shaped from the waist down.  We wobble.  We remain unbalanced.  We fall in slow motion.

There are no ghosts in the land of the dead, only vapours of the living trapped in simulation.  If only we were holograms it might all make sense.  If only we were made of light.  If only there were more to desire than a dream of this life.
