the Heart Attack by Divided Plains

Divided Plains, an acoustic duo formed by John Sharkey and Nicolette, after years of loosely jamming and collaborating.. We play a few covers, adding our own flavor, of course, but our main focus is on original compositions. We both sing sing lead as well as handle backup harmony as desired.

We're from very different backgrounds. While one of us (John) honed musical skills in the Northern California blues scene, and over the past decade added finger-style guitar, the other (Nicolette) spent her youth in Europe, surrounded by music from all over the world.
Expect to hear intricate guitar work. It is very much present in all of Divided Plains' music. The blend of aggressive picking with the very soft feel of the 12-string guitar make for a unique and unforgettable sound.
