“Remembrance” is a collaboration between Derik Van Hoose (Guitar), Glenn Welman (Drums) and Frederik Jensen (Vocals). 

“I wanted to compose something that had memorable guitar riffs and ends with a large, emotionally driven finale,” says Derik Van Hoose. “The song made me think of a reflection on a distant memory and Frederik had the idea lyrically to be about a man trying to forget a painful abusive relationship.”

Known for his atmospheric production, Van Hoose continues to carve a unique space in the Metal music scene. “Remembrance” drew influence from major bands: In Flames, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Gojira and Sleep Token.
