Our series of contemplations consists of live jams from our black soil laboratory. No plan. No rules. No sense. Just go with the vibe of the moment and resist the flow of the mainstream. Rebel by relaxing and let yourself sink under. Will you suffocate? Perhaps. Indeed. Why not?

Contemplation One

Orbiting a massive bright object is making us aware of it at all times yet we must realise that we are constantly seeing it from different angles, and by the time we return to a a previous position, the object has changed. This effectively makes every point a point of no return.

Straight Coil

Every once in a while we discover another occurrence of Black Soil which is laboriously collected, studied and stored. We do extensive reports on the most significant samples. This is our second published report.

Contemplation 3

The Black Soil Project is a duo consisting an enthusiastic pessimist and an apathetic optimist who’s music is inspired by heavy droning melodies as well as groovy groves. A mashup of 90’s Electronica, 00’s stoner rock and whimsical lyrics is what you can expect from Dull Fantastique and Feridun in their music collaboration. The two are based in Copenhagen and have a background of lyric-filled singer songwriter and playful eksperimental sounds which they make full use of in this darker interpretation.

The Black Soil Project started as a means to express thoughts and hesitations through both simple and intricate sounds and a deep focus on the lyrics themselves.
