After 10 years of waiting i lately got my first Zappa record shipped to Zwakkonia - and i have to say that neither sheep nor donkeys do dance to that music. So i decided to make something that´s more healthy for the brain and body, called my old band of shepherds together and made something. Hope you like it.

Escape In The Moonlight

This track has several new influences: 
First I nearly broke a 3/4 acoustic guitar by putting steel strings on it. It is really bended now, so I thought bottleneck is the right thing to play it. While there came so much noise out of it, I thought where noise is could more noise fit, so I recorded further found things in the kitchen.
Second influence was the idea of make something in a new style to shift borders of Zwakkonian  sphere into new lands.
Third influence is the aspect that the blues never lies.


Woke Up This Morning

This precious piece is particularly suitable for driving through a city in a modern car. An older model can also work if it has hi-fi audio.

Everyday Streetlife

Hey guys, I'm not leaving the year without presenting you with a new suite. It's never good to make music against something, so this is not a cantata against AI, but rather in praise of human imagination, human error and the still existing possibility of acquiring skills to bring ideas to life. To prove and support this, I even played the cello myself, believe it or not.

Think about what it means when you bring ‘art’ into the world that was actually constructed by a machine! What does it do to you, what is it supposed to do to the people who have to listen to it? AI is promoting itself and you are just the dealers.

Yeah, here's some piece inspired by some of my old records. Especially the synthsolo is a reminiscence to a solo found in  'Turn Off The Lights' by Larry Young's Fuel. Also Linda (Laura) Logan should be mentioned here! Check it out if you haven't so far! 
I also gave the track a distinct vinyl vibe because I can't wait to finally present my record. But I think that won't happen until the end of March.

Hey everyone! I've secured a small sponsorship for a record production! Many thanks for that!

It won't be a 1K edition, but the usual demand-based thing. But it's enough for a solid, hand-drawn cover and some time for pre-production.

I'm incredibly excited about it! It will be available to order from April.

And again a word to AI: I love to record and produce music and as you might hear I like editing to the edge sometimes. What leads to the question 'hows that done?' what in former times was quite a 'normal' thing when you listened to Tony Williams, Return To Forever f.e. There was a little secret that inspired further investigation. And now? If you can't explain something directly, there is immediately s.o. saying it must be AI. It's a shame.
And that's why I naturally see the future of creative producers under threat. Who still wants to recognise the difference? Where will the journey take us?
If I used AI, I would no longer feel like a musician. The fun would be over. The soul would be dead.
