I wrote this song for my Songwriter Producer Musical Direction Exam. This was a very cool experience for me! I am used to bringing my songs to a band and shaping them into their final product having worked with a band for the past year. However this time was different, I had 30 minutes to meet with the house band in college, give them lead sheets, production notes, and to direct them how to play the song that I had written and notated for them. In this 30 minutes we had to get a full recording done! So here it is! The live recording we done that cold winters morning! haha

Losing My Breath

BISHOP are an alternative Indie/Rock band that are ready to take on the Dublin music scene. Vocalist and songwriter Stephen Bishop originally hails from a small town in Co. Monaghan. He is a student of BIMM Dublin where he studying a BA Hons in Commercial Modern Music (Vocals). He teamed up with friend and fellow BIMM student Colleen Heavey to begin writing some original material in December of 2014. Guitarist Kevin Lacey joined the band in early 2015 and has been an asset to the band ever since, drummer Aimie Mallon and bassist Ronan Quinn are the newest members of BISHOP, their ability to lock into the grove, execute perfection and and their fresh way of thinking has brought a new sense of vitality to the band. Now with a full band of incredibly talented musicians, a set list of gripping, emotive and catchy songs they are ready to hit the Dublin music scene at full force!
