"Xirxe is a hymn to weirdness, to the monstrous feminine. An overturning of the vision of the woman-victim that comes to us from Greek mythology, in which courage to distance oneself from toxicity is interpreted as escape, weakness. In which defiance of patriarchal Olympian rules is seen as an act of vicious disobedience and not as vindication of one’s own choices. Xirxe takes a voice, recounts her choices, her courage and her vulnerability. Through self-awareness, she moves her choices and shapes her surroundings, dancing around obstacles, defining limits to be defended at all costs if violated Every body, in order to be crossed, needs consent."

Pulsing with distorted Roland 808 and 909 beats, acid-laced analog synths, and trippy basslines, this limited release offers only 25 cassette tapes, each shipped with an authenticity label. Haunting and intense, these tracks channel the grit of the underground, blending magnetic rhythms with sinister, distorted acid sounds that echo through a city lost to time and decay.

Originating from the vivid capital of German nineties techno, Frankfurt, PANTERNOISE is a sonic cult alchemist fusing 90s and 00s underground techno with contemporary industrial hard tech to evoke the mysterious dark essence of aural witchcraft. 

Her production sounds form a fractal universe and invite you to wander through dimensions, experiencing a hypnotic synergy of trippy and ethereal voices. Grating harsh baselines transport the listener into a mind-bending realm, stretching deep into the abyss beyond time and space. Imagine the graceful elegance of ballet poses contrasted with the raw intensity of rough kicks in the beyond yonder. Each track weaves a spell, evoking a mind-twisting obscure atmosphere. 

This composition style is consistent in PANTERNOISE´s DJ mixes: An alchemy of hard industrial techno infused with energetic tribal grooves and an unique blend of dark EBM | industrial | noise and punk, interweaving personal magic and dark aesthetics in: BODYTECHNO. PANTERCORE.

It has been two years since the first compilation on the Various Artists series (PEVA) of Pi Electronics and the concept has stayed true to its aim: to present a coherent selection of the label’s favourite collaborators from the roster and parties over the years. Bringing together Greek and international artists, this compilation opens with a 10 minute recording by the combined forces of Orphx and JK Flesh (Justin Broadrick), from a live performance recorded in Amsterdam. Meanwhile we also showcase the resurfacing of Vofa, the joint project of producers Sawf and ANFS. There is a variety of options in this 13 tracks release; from the raw and harsh textures of An-i and New Frames, to Lycurgus live drum set recordings, Kondaktor’s African percussive electronics and Sarin’s EBM infused techno. Some more techno interpretations, such as the hypnotic moods of Stave and Fragedis, or the more punchy sounds of Restive Plaggona and Poison Green. These shape the full picture of this second Pi Electronics compilation titled ‘Divide & Rule’.
