There's been a lot of fanmade chapter 3 "leaks" lately (terrifying to think I might've been the one to kickstart that), but ever since I saw a proposed design for Mike by Miner Mate Coffee I knew I had to do SOMETHING with him. While I don't personally believe Mike is going to be the main antagonist of Chapter 3 (Hell, Mike could just be his microphone), using the smile without the television head fits Toby's style so well and has so much charm to it. I'd highly suggest you check it out if you haven't seen it already.

I had a lot of fun with this, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I based the progression on the one motif unique to BIG SHOT (https://youtu.be/uivFFnCI8tM?t=41) and was able to work in a few other references to Spamton and other characters. I do think Toby would handle this theme a bit differently, but I think it's fitting regardless. Hope y'all enjoy!

Two Lakes: A tribute to Dave Weckl, one of the greatest drummers of all time. Through VST drum programming (and all other instruments being software/sample instruments), I tried to recreate Dave's style, as it was during his Chick Corea Elektric Band days, as well as his first few solo albums. That era made a lasting impression on how I approach drum programming.

Recorded, mixed & mastered by F87 with a couple of Macs running Reason Studios 12 and lots of VSTs from Arturia, IK Multimedia, Waves, Native Instruments, Neural DSP, Toontrack, Cherry Audio, Impact Soundworks, UVI and more.
