Feels like the bass is getting a bit lost though. But the overall effect is good. And do we always need to be able to focus on the bass line rather than have it there for support?

Strong bassline and groove.  Nice sweeps everywhere. Nice leads too. A somewhat less phasey sound wouldn't have hurt, I think. Would have made seperated the various instruments a bit more, probably. Any loss of of focus on the bass may be caused by that too. Phasey sounds have a tendency to blend together, afaik.

Oh this seems like late 80s early 90s underground electronic music fused with Enigma (Michael Cretu). Lovely bassline drives the whole thing through. It does though get lost in the mix when the song gets more busy.

nice percussion and solid song structure, but i wish the synth was experimented with more, and included some elements that gram my attention. Solid entry!

The sweeps in the bg work well, it's some nice ear candy. I like the funky feel of the track

Once Upon A Time

I started putting this together in October 2022, and eventually completed it in March 2023, although I was working on quite a few other projects during that period.

This started out as an ambient composition, but it slowly morphed into a chillout or possibly New Age piece.

EDIT: 20230514 I have remixed the track, moving the unaffected "bell" synth towards the centre of the stereo field, and reduced its volume. The track was then mastered, using the original chain
