I am Jules, a boy who grew up in the unforgiving slums of Mumbai. My story is one of resilience, fueled by the passion for music that found its way into my life. In the seventh grade, I took on the persona of "Lil Wamen" and embarked on a journey into the world of rap. Armed with little more than a borrowed microphone and a burning desire to escape the harsh realities of my surroundings, I released track after track, pouring my heart and soul into each rhyme. But in the eighth grade, the weight of my circumstances and the pressures of life in the slums led me into the depths of depression, and I temporarily abandoned my musical dreams. However, in 2023, Lil Wamen emerged from the shadows with a newfound purpose and a fresh sound. My return to the music scene brought with it experimental psychedelic rap that showcased my growth as an artist and a testament to the indomitable spirit that had carried me through life's darkest moments.
