That the love Stevens sings about having left or given or been born to–thank you, Carrie–is a perceptible wound not only on the singer’s throat, but his sleeve: he wears love’s incomprehensibility, and the deep incomprehensibility of being a son, like a backing vocal on “Carrie and Lowell,” which is also filled with colors, hearts, trees, conclusions, and beginnings,

Sunbeam is the first of three tracks that will become a part of our upcoming EP “Desert Aire.” The song was inspired by a beautiful camping trip to the Priest’s Rapids Recreation Area along the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. Here the hills are dry and brown and the water is cool and clean and at night, there is nothing but blackness and a sea of stars. Naturally this kind of setting leads to realizations of the unfolding and mystery of life!

Schwinge ist ein Solomusiker, der nach über 20-jähriger musikalischer Pause seine Liebe zur Gitarre und zur Soundtüftelei wieder entdeckt. In einem schmalen Leipziger Wohnzimmerstudio sucht er mit kratzigen Gitarren und treibenden Beats nach tanzbaren Antworten in einer oft rätselhaften inneren und äußeren Welt. Irgendwo zwischen Post-Punk, Indie und Pop schraubt, klickt, schrammelt und singt er, einfach weil es so sehr Spaß macht.
Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zum Makel ist jeder Song nicht weniger als ein Versuch, ein offenes Experiment und eine Liebeserklärung an die Musik. 
Und so bleibt auch offen was noch passiert und was sich entwickeln will…
