Written in 1990, this song takes a tongue-in-cheek look at re-inventing myself with new exciting friends, pop mega-stardom and even a skull tattoo.  There is a simple joy in songwriting and letting the imagination go wild, for a while.

Sweepin' The Old Me Out

Written in 1990, this song was inspired by a memory of Kings Cross, Sydney.  A drive-by destination for tourist buses, where (at the time) the less fortunate hung around alley ways - eking out an existence, hidden from the light and the eyes of the better off.
Most big cities have places like this - a place to turn a blind eye towards.

This is the song I wrote in 2019 as my reflection on ANZAC Day - when in 1915, 8000 young Australian men were sacrificed - on distant sands.
