It all started when I was five years old growing up on Maiden Lane, the south side of Kingston Jamaica. Hearing my dad playing some of his favorite artist such as Charlie Pride, Jim Reese, The Stylistics etc.. on his stereo captured my ear. The year was 1976, despite conflict with rival gangs had a stern upbringing and enough sense for good music. However it really started when I discovered my hidden talent in high school. Aww! There it is/ I was in a different neighborhood and in the Speech and Drama class writing poems and competing with my peers. I later discovered that I had the ability to write more than just poems and compositions. I then took it upon myself to write rap songs after listening to rap tapes with groups such as Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, LL Cool J  just to name a few, Slick Rick was my favorite because he had that unusual way in which he delivers his rap songs. So my friend and I started a group
called the Yardie Boyz, that started growing in numbers. We challenged every crew in our neighborhood that claimed they could rap and of course we were always the victorious ones. Through the years growing up in a nice neighborhood that was adjacent to a not so nice neighborhood thought us the good and bad in life. My crew earned our name and respect from the community in which we were raised. Just for being who we are and a bit different. However back in the 80's hardcore dancehall and reggae was the predominant sound but we made our mark of being the crew that delivers. Never the less there was this other crew from the eastern side of the city that was creating waves too. They were no joke either, both crew run into each other at an annual show dubbed Teen Splash. After the contest both crew met and a suggestion was make by a friend of mine  (Paul Royce) that both leaders of the two crews begin that we were both good at what we do should come together and form a super crew. That we did and the rest was history. Richard Brown aka Krassiz was added to the crew as a third member. A rap song we penciled called Bad 2 D Bone became our name. We preformed at school shows across the island such as Alpha Buzzar K.C May Fair, Peter Croach - Jamming On The Fault Line, Carlos Cafe, God Father's etc..etc...
We also did opening for overseas act such as Kris Kross, Onyx, Shabba For Gold and so on. Over the years my talent as a writer and the second half of my crew became better and better by competing with ourselves. Although we didn't have a record deal we were unstoppable. Our last two performance was at the Carlos Cafe then the first half of my crew migrated to the United States. 
Being on my own and getting to a certain age, it was hard doing shows without my other crew member. However had to find a job that I did in order to live comfortably and pay the bills. I then venture out into the production aspect of the music business where I am today, still working and perfecting my craft. Started my own company/label in 2017
