Suicide Notes is the sixth track on B4 THE DON's New album: Be Yourself. The song portrays the story of a young man questioning his worth and willingness to live. Throughout the song his contemplation and acceptance of suicide grows deeper and deeper until he hits the point where he was just about ready do it. Despite these overwhelmingly negative thoughts and feelings, God brought upon him a remembrance of his family, friends, and all the people who have loved him. He tells him that he's not alone and how precious his life is, that He has a purpose God-given that still needs to be fulfilled. So This man put down his hate, his solidarity and came back to his family and God. He could now live another day, knowing he's not alone and that he is worth something. This song is for everyone in the world who may be struggling with suicide, self-hate, self-hurt, overwhelming guilt, to tell them they are not alone. This young man was me, broken, scared, and in my own head lonely. It was only when I got to rely on God, and everyone who was there for me that I found a reason to live. ITS MORE THAN MUSIC.............It's life.
