42 is a love song that started out completely different. The first verse and pre-chorus were written at a time in my life where I was losing faith in pretty much everything, almost becoming atheist. Just like the characters who built the supercomputer in "Hitchhiker's Guide of the Galaxy," I was looking for my answer in all the wrong places. I had so many questions and had no idea what I was doing in the future or what my purpose was. By the time the chorus came around, I had met this guy who had the exact same mentality and interests as me, but viewed the negatives in the world as an opportunity to make it a better place. He pretty much restored my faith in humanity, in the future, and in myself.

With the anniversary of our debut EP 'woah' coming up - we wanted to share some of the demo's with you. 

This originally started off as a story by my mate Zac explaining what the California Superbloom was and how rare it is. Later on that evening we started jamming and purely as a joke I started singing about it but no one laughed.
