[PREMIERE] TenTwentySeven - Critical Mass [Majía]

Dancehall underdog 45diboss and London-based innovator Ikonika team up again for Share Work, their 2nd single on DJ NA’s Dise Records imprint. Following up their 2018 summer smash Inah Line, 45 rides out a dark, throbbing bassline and seductive arpeggios and brings us another provocative club anthem. This newest effort preserves the exquisite chemistry between the two, and explores the strong bond between Jamaican and English dance music. A lovely addition to the label’s unique approach to modern Caribbean sounds and beyond, Dise is proud to continue chronicling the ongoing collaboration between these two unique artists.

We are very proud to present you our new compilation called “Club Tribute Vol. 2”.

Almost two years after the first volume, a simple idea came to our minds : celebrating club culture through its diversity. As the first volume did, but this time going a little bit further than before : the spectrum of genres and approaches towards club music is here completely expanded, and shows above all that what is commonly qualify as “club sounds” covers in fact many different ways of thinking. Some with experimental takes on it, some others strictly made for the dance, some blending different styles, some with vocals, some rough, some soft, but all with a common point : inspired in some way by the club and its history, its evolutions, its spirit.

10 tracks (ranging from original ones, blends and edits) by 10 completely different artists, with different backgrounds, different locations and different musical careers that we really wanted to bring together through this project.

Fresh off a Europe Tour, Ase Manual delivers “Cookies” -- his second full-length solo project of 2019. A thematic sequel to “Lumi,” Cookies sees Ase continue to translate notions of trauma, glamour, and desire into a progressive soundscape. Through means of digital production, Ase seamlessly blends the worlds of techno, house and jersey club to create his own firey electric sounds. The project artwork plays into Cookies’ collision of sounds and fiery presence as a digital collage done by Ngu Asongwed.

Bapari (aka Arielle Baptiste) is a Haitian-American musician, producer and DJ. Bapari DJs the monthly show Puffy on NTS radio and has most recently done releases with Los Angeles-based labels Popcan Records and Mollyhouse Records. In addition to producing for a number of recording artists, Bapari is set to release their debut solo EP this spring. They've headlined Boiler Room LA, played Melting Point & Papi Juice in New York, among countless parties across the USA, and last year served as the tour DJ for Steve Lacy.
