No More Short Cuts Home

Scottish born, and for a long time now London based, singer/songwriter Keith M Thomson’s fine blend of darkly humorous lyrics and infectious, cross-cultural melodies have enticed and entertained broad, international audiences across the UK and Europe; both with his own engaging, often intense, solo shows and as front-man of his band, The Penny Black Remedy.

Keith released his debut solo album, “It’s Not A Matter Of Space”, on December 9th 2016. The album was written, performed, recorded and mixed by Keith and features additional vocals by long-time musical collaborator and co-singer of TPBR, Marijana Hajdarhodzic. Select tracks from the album were accompanied by promotional videos.

RnR Magazine gave Keith’s debut solo album a glowing 4 Star review. The same magazine also said of Keith:

‘Lead singer and songwriter for The Penny Black Remedy, Keith M Thomson, is a genius’.

Keith will be releasing his second solo album, entitled "A Death In Kreuzberg", on Fri 27th April 2018. He plans to perform material from both his solo albums live at choice events throughout the course of 2018. The first song to be released from "A Death In Kreuzberg" is called "No More Short Cuts Home", the release of which was accompanied by a video (filmed and edited again by Marijana Hajdarhodzic).
