been on the mend for a bit, but it took a LOT longer than i expected to feel whole enough get back to making music. it only finally clicked in the last couple weeks of august, so I’ve spent the past 15 days feverishly sketching out ~2 years worth of pent up tracks - here are some of them.

outrageously sleep deprived and still pretty creaky, but this past 2 weeks I’ve felt more myself than I have in a long time :))

a a y n a ( meaning mirror in bangla ) is the reflection of Dibyashree Ghosh, as she sets onto this new journey to showcase her love for the sound of acid in the amalgamation of disco, electro, breaks and bass, which further provides a delightful combination of groove-embedded basslines, uplifting vocal samples; accordion sounds of the sea and the sharpest of snares. 
Aayna aims to act as the building bridge between the 80’s classics and the 21st century’s bangers as she’s someone who has wide-ranging roots that run deep in the past, yet she’s also the embodiment of future, proving in fact that even with the change in time, the power of acid disco never fades.
