There was no doubt that REBOOTED's 1st birthday celebration was a tremendous success. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate this significant milestone was very touching. The atmosphere was electric and there was a real sense of excitement in the air. Every DJ who performed that day brought their best, delivering some remarkable sets.

I always find that Back-to-Back or B2B sets are an interesting concept as you never quite know what to expect! Even with the best will in the world and the most thorough preparation, you can't fully anticipate what the other DJ will bring to the table. On this occasion, it worked seamlessly. The crowd were engaged throughout and created a truly memorable experience.

It was my first time DJing for such an extended set, and every track flowed seamlessly, keeping the energy high and the vibes perfect. It was not just about playing great tunes - it was about creating the experience!😃 A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support REBOOTED and me - we have come a long way since launching in Sheffield in April 2023! Building this loyal, passionate community has been incredible and seeing how much you enjoyed the music made the event truly unforgettable. I was thrilled to return to the legendary Arches in Glasgow after over 15 years! Being announced as the very special guest for such a monumental night alongside an incredible lineup of talents like Marco V, Sander van Doorn, Eddie Halliwell, Scot Project, and Yoji Biomehanika was both an honour and a privilege.

The night was unforgettable, with each DJ delivering stellar performances that kept the energy soaring. During my set, memories of the packed venue and the electric atmosphere of a joyful, good-spirited Scottish crowd came flooding back. The chants of HWFG! HWFG! HWFG! echoed the same passion I remember from all those years ago.

One thing is clear, the Arches remains my all-time favourite venue in Glasgow. Its unique history and unparalleled crowd make it a magical place. Words can’t describe just how great an experience it was, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing every minute of my epic 1-hour set, which I’ll let you all judge for yourselves. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to return and relive the magic!

Eddie Swales' passion is trance music. 3 years ago he took the plunge and took a keen interest in DJing. 

Eddie Swales has a passion for the classics and a substantial back catalogue, influenced from the Gatecrasher era of the late 90s and early 2000s. His style is diverse and continues to evolve, playing tech, uplifting and vocal trance both classic and current.

Eddie quickly realised from his impressive reach with his mixes and radio shows that he had discovered a raw talent and an outlet for his love for all things trance.

2023 was Eddie’s breakthrough year. Following the success of his online mixes Eddie has gained a loyal and ever-growing fan base which was soon noticed by Scott Bond. Seeing his devotion to the music that fuelled a generation, Eddie was chosen to play a set at the after-party of the Rebooted event in Sheffield.

Following this he has also played at Anomaly’s ASOL, Binary Finary’s Classic Trance event Unified, Reminiscence, warming up for AJ Gibson, Lost Witness, Kyau & Albert, The Thrillseekers and more recently Signum. Eddie also played his first international gig at Euphoria Weekender in Malta playing 2 sets over the 5 days.


With his sights set on entering the realms of production in the future, Eddie continues to express his love for our favourite genre via as many avenues as possible.

"Tune selection really is an art and in order to get it right, it requires significant preparation and having the right amount of ingredients. It has always been about the journey. Therefore, variety is required to aid the listeners on their nostalgic fix with a torrent of dancefloor destroyers to those forgotten treasures which were unfortunately overshadowed at the time."
