Gatecrasher NEC 13/04/2001 

Guy Ornadel, Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, Tiesto and Judge Jules and many more played to a sold out NEC arena for 10 hours, what an atmosphere, what a night!!
This is a recreation of the sets played by these DJ's in the order they played in, I wanted it to sound as authentic as possible so that is why I kept a few of the tracks in that got played more than once on that night. 
This is one, long, continous mix, I have put the times of the set starts and finishes next to the DJ's name just in case you wanted to listen to that particular set. I hope you enjoy the mix and most importantly hope it brings back some memories of that night in the NEC.

This was my final appearance at Cream Ibiza for 2016, and it was one HELL of a night. The atmosphere was without doubt the best all Summer, thanks to the yearly influx of trance fans on the first week of September in Ibiza. Eddie Swales' passion is trance music. 2 years ago he took the plunge and took a keen interest in DJing. 

Eddie Swales has a passion for the classics and a substantial back catalogue, influenced from the Gatecrasher era of the late 90s and early 2000s. His style is diverse and continues to evolve, playing tech, uplifting and vocal trance both classic and current.

Eddie quickly realised from his impressive reach with his mixes and radio shows that he had discovered a raw talent and an outlet for his love for all things trance.

2023 has been Eddie Swales’ breakthrough year. Following the success of his online mixes Eddie has gained a loyal and ever-growing fan base which was soon noticed by Scott Bond. Seeing his devotion to the music that fuelled a generation, Eddie was chosen to play a set at the after-party of the Rebooted event in Sheffield.

Following this he has also played at Anomaly’s ASOL, Binary Finary’s Classic Trance event Unified, Reminiscence and supporting Euphoria Weekender favourite Maria Healy at Captured Emotions pres. Affinity.

With his sights set on entering the realms of production in the future, Eddie continues to express his love for our favourite genre via as many avenues as possible.

"Tune selection really is an art and in order to get it right, it requires significant preparation and having the right amount of ingredients. It has always been about the journey. Therefore, variety is required to aid the listeners on their nostalgic fix with a torrent of dancefloor destroyers to those forgotten treasures which were unfortunately overshadowed at the time."
