Sorrow Is A Heavy Weight

Brassica Jam was born out of a Jamnuary jam and became this final version through a collaboration with MJPtaque. We worked well together and eventhough the track has a Cinematic feel…it is hard to define the genre.

Well...i was thinking of experimenting with Anthony's voice and this is what came off it.

The Experiment

Iron Maiden was my first encounter with the power of the chugg. This jam was an experiment with gated chuggs and Pigments and Sir Chuggsalot was born !

Doesie Doe Dub

After thoroughly enjoying a Ned Rush podcast, inspiration struck and i decided to sample his joyful sounds. Hence this jam was born.

There's fun to be Ned

Our dear Anthony made a rack called 'Speed Saturator' in the Mixing & Mastering' course in lesson 9.5. He also offers an ableton set in that lesson...which inspired me to play with. The speed saturator came in handy and added a bit of distortion to the original sound.
Hope this adds to his infectious reminder to remain 'stoked' !

This track was my contribution to the Asheville Relief Compilation Effort. Where 20 or so producers created a fundraising album for the project. The compilation album is called 'Regrowth' and was put together by the good people at Neuro Studio.
