These sounds were recorded on location throughout the Channeled Scablands of Eastern Washington.  The recording was part of several multi-disciplinary exhibitions featuring my work:   Totem/Lucida, Tokonoma/Lucida and the larger E-Scapes Project.   I used a Sennheiser-816 shotgun microphone and ME-80 recorded stereo to Betacam-SP video tape while making video field recordings in the endangered shrub-steppe ecosystem of Washington.  No overdubbing, digital effects or processing were used in the creation or final mix of this track.
