As I closed out my reflections on the last 12 months, riding through many positive personal and other emotional vicissitudes, I realized that not many things in the world make us move, think, and feel more than music. Seeing so many talented friends across different parts of the industry reminds me that though we come from different backgrounds, we're all working to make the music world inspiring for creators of all types. I feel so grateful to be able to contribute music that made me happy and hopeful in the last 365 days. 

Reflecting on where my ear and interests currently are, the records included in this mix kept coming back to me, and I've sat with them for an entire year (Thanks for your patience, Alex). After 2-3 months of complete mixing absence, I was overwhelmed with a creative wave earlier this week and recorded the mix. 

It's all over the place, in all its roughness and imperfection, but I am super proud of it and admit I listened to it many times. ❤️

For the 29th edition of our Mass Cast, we're excited to release this incredible recording of @cvigoe 's 4-hour opening set from Hot Mass on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Conor is someone we've loved to watch grow as an artist through his years in Pittsburgh and via his radio show on 88.3 WRCT. It was such a treat to get to send him off from his time here with a set at the club, and he did an absolutely flawless job. Take notes: this is how you build a night over many hours.

Big thanks to you, Conor, and all the best to you wherever life takes you. We can't wait to see what you do next!

Italy's Shift LTD drop their 7th release, a vinyl only affair with 4 low cuts that simply ooze what this label is all about.
Four great tracks that it were produced in the 1993 from Mr. Ivan Iacobucci.
The production duo, ( Twins in fact! ) of DNArt step up alongside Underground Ghosts to present 4 delicious slices of bumping beats along side soulful melodies as part of the Grunge EP. 
The track S opens up the EP with swing and soft, deep and inviting dynamic that allows this track to ease you into its feel good vibe. Following this up we pick up the pace with a more UKG flavoured O , a track that carries a Rhodes driven melody again softening the crisp hats and creating that warm and fuzzy feeling.
Next U lends itself to the dance floor vibes of O with low swung beat teasing the groove in as the melodics intricately progress. Finishing the EP we have L and this is by far the deepest track on the ep, primed and ready for those hot and sweat summer nights.
DNArt's soul is on full display here for Shift LTD in this tight collection of dance floor heat.

For the final recorded set from Campout 2019, we wanted to share a special moment from the weekend. @midland played a stunning three hour set at Hemlock Hole that helped set the tone for the weekend. 

Reflecting back on this time together feels almost like a dream. The threat of COVID-19 and the quarantine we’ve been forced to endure has forced us to hit pause on our lives and rethink our immediate futures. As much as we’d love to dance with you this summer, we tearfully must postpone Honcho Campout to August 19-22, 2021 due to COVID-19.
