On 19.03.2016, DEAD EYED SLEEPER, founded in 1994 under the name “Legacy” and members of which are active with Ahab and Fragments of Unbecoming, will release their newest album, Gomorrh.

“With lyrics derived from what is perhaps the darkest period of German history before the World Wars, DEAD EYED SLEEPER bear down on the listener much like Totenmond before them, only that songwriters and instrumentalists with high standards for not only their compositions, but themselves as well, are behind the music. It is this drive that results in the band’s particular style of enthralling, progressive death metal, free of virtuosic affectations, featured on Gomorrh.”

After the analog recordings of the quintet’s newest album, producer Jens Siefert (The Hirsch Effekt, Ahab, Fjørt, etc.) of Rama Tonstudio, Mannheim described it as “nonconformist, raw, as vile as the true picture of humanity.”
