Doctor: Sorry I'm a bit slow. May not be at my best right now.

Dalek: You are dying, Doctor.

Doctor: Yes. I'm dying. You've been trying to kill me for centuries, and here I am; dying of old age. (If you want something done, do it yourself.)

Dalek: You will die, and the Time Lords will never return.
Doctor: You still can't work up the courage to shoot me, can you? You still worry, I've got something up my sleeve! Well you knock yourself out boys. I've got nothing this time.

(The Doctor sits and waits doing nothing as the Daleks destroy the Town called Christmas.)

(The crack opens up in the sky and regeneration energy flows out and into the Doctor, preventing his death)

Dalek: You will die now Doctor. This is the end of you. 
(The crack closes)
Dalek: The rules of regeneration are known. You have expended all your lives.

Doctor: Sorry? What did you say? Did you mention, "The Rules"? Now, listen, bit of advice; tell me the truth if you think it and lay down the law, if you're feeling brave. But, Daleks, never, ever, tell me the rules!

Dalek: Emergency! Emergency! The Doctor is regenerating! The Doctor is regenerating!

Doctor: Oh look at this, regeneration number 13. We're breaking some serious science here boys, and I tell you what; it's gonna be a whopper! Ha ha!

Dalek: Exterminate! Exterminate the Doctor!

Doctor: Ha! You think you can stop me now Daleks? If you want my life, come and get it!

Clara: Get inside! Get inside, quick, quick!

Doctor: Ha ha ha! Love from Gallifrey boys!

And so, we say farewell to a mighty fine Doctor...Peter Capaldi, you were undoubtedly a good man.

(The 12th Doctor pulls a lever to the TARDIS and takes off, turning to the scanner)

Doctor: Oh, there it is. The silly old universe. The more I save it, the more it needs saving...it's a treadmill!

(The TARDIS bleeps)

Doctor: Yes, yes, I know. They'll get it all wrong without me. Well, I suppose...one more lifetime wouldn't kill anyone. Well, except me.

(The TARDIS cloister bell goes)

Doctor: (begins climbing up the stairs) You wait a moment, Doctor. Let's get it right. I've got a few things to say to you.

Basic stuff first. Never be cruel, never be cowardly...and never ever eat pears! Remember, hate is always foolish, and love is always wise. (walks down the stairs again a little wobbly) Always try to be nice...but never fail to be kind. (walks over to the doors then turns around)

Doctor: Oh! And you mustn't tell anyone your name. No one, would understand it anyway. Except...except children. Children...can hear it sometimes...if their hearts are in the right place, and the stars are too. Children can hear your name. But nobody else. Nobody else, ever. Laugh hard! Run fast...be kind...Doctor...I let you go.
