This is a track I composed for an upcoming project but I wanted to share it here as well. There's a gothic sensibility to this horror theme that feels ancient and frightening but not oppressive or too self-serious. After all, we wouldn't keep watching horror films if they weren't such bloody good fun.

The preset project beats recorded straight from the Tempest with no processing.

Note that this is not a professional-level recording. I went from Tempest to line-in on my computer because I did not have a real mixer to use with my computer, so there might be clipping in spots. I just wanted to get some more sounds from the Tempest online that weren't recorded from a webcam.

My love of 1950s soundtracks and films inspired me to take this one on. Scores of Ronald Stein, Bernard Hermann and others are obvious influences here. Most of the sounds are from the Roland FA-08 workstation while the Theremin is a patch from the Moog Sub 37
