An-Nawwas ibn Sam’an reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, “On the Day of Resurrection, the Quran and its people who acted upon it will be brought forth, preceded by Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Ali Imran.”

An-Nawwas continued: The Messenger of Allah set forth three examples and I have not forgotten them since, “They will come like two clouds, two dark shades, or two lines of birds arguing on behalf of their people.”

“Bacalah Al Qur`an, karena ia akan datang memberi syafa’at kepada para pembacanya pada hari kiamat nanti. Bacalah Az-Zahrawain, yakni Al-Baqarah dan surah Ali Imran, karena keduanya akan datang pada hari kiamat nanti, seperti dua tumpuk awan menaungi pembacanya, atau seperti dua kelompok burung yang sedang terbang dalam formasi hendak membela pembacanya. Bacalah surah Al-Baqarah, karena membacanya adalah berkah dan tidak membacanya adalah penyesalan. Dan para penyihir tidak akan dapat membacanya.” (HR. Muslim no. 804)
