Christmas in March! Why not? :) I was amazed that this song became one of my most liked and most reposted songs. Recently, I also got a very sweet message requesting me to release the acoustic version! So, lo and behold, the acoustic version of Take a Chance!

This acoustic version captures exactly how it sounded in my head when I wrote it at work on my lunch break, and also how it sounded as I sang it to myself over and over again for the entirety of my shift. Bold vocals, soft harmonies, and the simplicity of an acoustic guitar.

One thing about this particular track; you may have heard a part of it from the 8th Kanda Sessions House Mix; The Love N Puff Garage House Mix.  Back then I was experimenting with some remixes from other tracks (from Octi N Spectre's "Dark Blue").  I finally found the opportunity to complete the actual beat & track.  It's got a good blend; maybe some tunes you might have heard before.....somewhat encrypted😎😉 🎧

A little experimentation with percussion layers, aggressive sounds and groove. This is the second mix/master as I felt the original was too harsh.  I reduced some of the upper mid frequencies and also the loudness for improved balance and overall sound quality, although I still wanted that machine-like industrial feel.  Est Procul is a loose translation to Latin of "Far-Out".  All percussion tracks were played and recorded on a Native Instruments Maschine Micro.
