Trouble You Maker

This piece was a bit painful to write, not my typical style.  I learned a lot about 13th chords (major and minor chords combined). Put them into something that feels like it belongs in an Xfiles show or something of the sort.  You can hear the classical piano training come out in the 3/4 time change 2nd movement.

Darkness Matters

Inspired by early Enya, this song was an imaginative recreation of my first road trip to AK when I was 20 years old. This picture was taken north of Coldfoot AK on our way to the Arctic Ocean in 2019.

My son and daughter both introduced me to elements of Electronic music. The beats and breakdowns of EDM and its vast array of styles have intrigued me.  My thanks to them. Also, this is my first time using a vocoder in a song.

Electronic December

Music is the breath of life. We gracefully move within the space between the notes, it's there the memories are created.  
Joshua has been composing and writing music since the grade school years.  His thematic compositions are influenced by his classical piano training and the early new-age movement.  Later picking up a go anywhere guitar from a pawn shop he learned singing and songwriting.  On this side, Joshua is influenced by Americana, Blues and Rock.  These binary themes weave themselves in and out of Joshua's music...and the binaural is the mystery.
