This song I wrote for my father, who was and I hope still is one of my biggest fans. He was very happy and moved when he heard that song.  I am a mother now too and I finally understand what parents have to do and worry about to keep their children save, healthy and happy.

Best Papa

This song is a prayer in a time when I was very lonely, with a heart full of sorrow. Written 21 years ago. Last year I met a harpist and she had to play this song. The harp is such a celestial instrument and when I added a violin, it all came together just right. And as my son is suffering from an ultra rare disease, it's sometimes still a very hard and lonely road. So I could still relate to these lyrics today.

I like to combine different instruments and styles and so the vocals are a little Country style. I've written songs since I'm 17 but only just recently learned to record and produce them by myself. It's an amazing journey full of growth and I love the learning that's happening throughout the process.
