SOTE was conceived by M. Alvarez and D. Diaz 2 years ago and was initially supposed to be a goth/electronica/80s project but ended up taking shape as a dethcore/slam/djent project (mainly because we dont have any synth equipment). Based in our love for all that is heavy and groovy, bands like The Acacia Strain , Impending Doom , Oceano , Con Artist , Traitors, and America Runs The Show. SOTE is refining its material to bring some groove and heavy to the long drawn/played out hxc scene in the av , we want to take it back to when breakdowns and heaviness were everything to reinvigorate the music scene in the high desert. SOTE is set to be an arbiter of the evil and misguided...

We are currently searching for a drummer and 2nd guitarist to fill out our lineup , vocal demos will be coming soon...
