Banana Hill - The Rock-afire Explosion

In 1986-1987, Showbiz Pizza decided to record their own showtapes without any involvement from Creative Engineering in an attempt to save on money. Unfortunately for them and us, they were incomparable to the shows produced by Creative Engineering with heavy, unfunny dialogue and all the songs being sung by voice actors rather than actual musicians, which was what made the Rock Afire so unique in the first place. The shows’ production eventually ceased and Creative Engineering was granted full control again. But over the last few years of the Rock Afire era, Showbiz continued to stick their noses in areas they had very little experience with, leading to very similar results.
