Drummer for nearly 25 years, I experimented with different musical styles through my old bands. 
From jazz to metal or electro jazz, hip hop, drum & bass and dub.

My compositions in my side project are a reflection of this eclecticism. 

Some melodic ideas are taken from my brother's classical piano compositions.

When I compose, I like to cut rhythmic samples surgically, and make them groove, rather at sustained tempos. 
I don't know why but I have a strong taste for saturation. 
Certainly my past and current experiences in metal (see Death Proof Bastards). 
The result is shaken and battered bass. 
I also often use voices, rather feminine, probably to appease this kind of violence. 
In short, for me, composition is a certain form of therapy. 
It is a way of expressing the good, beautiful, joyful, sad, dark, bad feelings that I experience deep inside myself. 
And simply an opportunity to express myself differently on social issues that affect me. 

I hope you enjoy these compositions or at least that they have surprised, disturbed or moved you.
