They Call Me Steve is the solo project of Dutch musician Jordi van Achthoven (½ of Tinlicker). Created during late-night sessions at home with just a desk, chair, and headphones, the project blends warm audio fragments from vinyl, CDs, and old hard drives into intimate electronic compositions.

On the second single, “Life Has Changed,” from his upcoming debut album Escapism,  Jordi continues his exploration of memory and mood—blending subtle grooves, nostalgic textures, and unexpected samples into a track that feels both deeply personal and universally reflective.
