Labelboss Andreas Henneberg has not been on the lazy side this fall traveling the globe playing massive shows in addition to releasing some heavy hitting EPs, and yet again he is ready with a proper dancefloor banger. This time we are introduced to a rather playful and slightly quirky side of Andreas, where “Daydreaming” takes the lead. The track is full of twists and turns with a playful synth working along a catchy groove accompanied by vocals telling you exactly how it is. It is a upbeat mood with plenty of dancefloor craze. Continuing the journey is “Landshut”, a powerful bassline driven tune in true Henneberg style. Synths pulsate and twirl throughout the track in this excellently constructed soundscape, all ready to make the listener let go and join the ride.

Coming in hot off their latest Watergate Mix Adana Twins deliver their first EP stemming from the mix itself putting what could be the standout track off the compilation: their remix of Patrice Bäumel’s ‘Roar' front and center. Taking the hugely successful original which could be considered as much a tool as it is a peak time bomb, the duo twist the initial anthem into a climactic, euphoric ride by adding their signature percussion and shimmers of melody while utilizing the original’s spine tingling tension to create an absolutely massive and memorable dance floor experience. 

Flipping to the B-side, Adana Twins present ‘Aufstand der Massen’ where they dive into the ethereal corners of dramatic Techno reminiscent of the ‘Jupiter’ EP from early this year creating a flawlessly executed trip into enchanted territory. Having already been in constant rotation of heavy hitters like Solomun and Tale Of Us is proof enough that Adana Twins have a hit on their hands and now it’s time for you to have it too.

Musumeci is back on Batti Batti with a new Ep of three tracks remarking his sound between the old school deep house and classic chicago traxx flavour. The Ep is opened by Blue and its anthemic bassline: A dreamy trip on alternating current where a square wave that bounces since the first second of the track serves as a perfect launch base for the fascinating synth interlacement that slides on top of the simple but effective 808 drum patterns. Follows the tile track Walking Back with its 909 straight groove and a more dancefloor attitude underlined by a progressive structure, syncopated piano chords and the gentle growl of a rising synth line. Last but not least Musumeci gives us Squaredome, an amusing dj tool developed around the sound of 808 drums and of course a massive dose of square synth bass. So the only question is: how much square wave can your ear process?
