Dear friends - a little song about our little ones (in Swedish).
The melody has been approved by my lovely little granddaughter Greta!
Today, June 6, 2023, is a big day for Sweden. We are celebrating the 500th anniversary of our country in its current form. It feels good!

What amuses Children

What amuses children
it is not easy to understand
but the reality is
that it is good when the children smile

To swing really high against the sky
so that the world changes
it can be upside down
and then the children laugh out loud

When the children feel bad
and when life feels so sad
then it sometimes helps
when grandpa reads them a fairy tale

In this modern age
there have been things that are fun
and which opens up our world
with pictures from a distant land

I know kids like animals
both small ones and those you can ride on
and when the children hug them
then both animals and children enjoy it

Vad är det som roar barn
det är inte lätt att förstå
men verkligheten är
att det är bra när barnen ler

Att gunga riktigt högt emot skyn
så att världen ändrar sig
den kan bli upp och ner
och då skrattar barnen högt

När barnen känner sig dåliga
och när livet känns så trist
då hjälper det ibland
när morfar läser en saga för dom

I denna moderna tid
det har kommit grejer som är kul
och som öppnar våran värld
