Land Of The Drums is a unique blend of natural animal sounds put to
Rhythm and a driving Dance percussive Beat.
Producer Neftali Santiago ( Former Drummer Of Mandrill) was a sample pioneer in 1980.
All animal sounds were placed with a Melotron ( first sampler with analogue tapeloops).
The single was only available as promo and got a lot of attention in Holland, for example as Radio tune from legendary radioprogram Soul Show with Ferry Maat.
The promotional copies are selling for as much as $85 a copy because of dj’s collecting.
Nowaday there’s still a demand for the record.

No Remixes, re-recordings or re-edits , nothing beats the original version.

released, this record is still popular and on many want lists.
But very hard to get till now, we have good news!
Dan Lacksman has carefully remastered and transferred the
original master to 24 Bits Digital ..... the result is a limited
edition of the original 12-inch version from 1978.
On the B side of this limited edition 12-inch is the long version
of You Are Disco.
The release is available from Friday, May 5th
