“Being healthy around friends and cats.”, Cologne-based producer Kieran Kaul aka @DJBrom likes it simple, navigating in a small local scene that is truly in it for the music.

For EDWIN MUSIC CHANNEL he created a deep storytelling mix, juggling with all those amen breaks, digi-dub spheres, Balearic transcendence, and melodic edgy electronics, featuring tunes by western Australian producer lovefear, mysterious user703918785 and his “Suki Girlz” drill, upcoming French artist Realitycheck, and dub leaning producer Gulls from Portland, Oregon.  Truly a transportive journey, that as always gets accompanied by a conversation with our host. New one straight from Poznań, straight from 𝗧𝗕𝗛 ♡˙ᵕ˙♡

Producer, selector, and founder of the independent club initiative @slinaslinaslina, as well as co-founder of the K8 collective, whose broad activities share one common goal: introducing the local community to new and unexplored areas of electronic music. His primary musical inspiration comes from texture, often found in percussion-driven sounds. In his latest mix TBH freely showcases his recent obsessions, with the central theme being what he calls “an attempt to control chaos.” The recording is full of diverse textures, sonic surprises, abrupt shifts, and a wide range of moods and tempos. Expect to hear leftfield bass, polyrhythmic techno, UK dubstep, and sounds from the global south.

#34 APPOINTMENT W/ TBH

"This mix is my approach to an atmospheric opening set, beginning with a passage of ambient music and gradually moving through downtempo breaks, elegant tech house, hypnotic techno and more, culminating with an understated 135 BPM banger or two. I performed this set live in San Francisco this past Friday and re-recorded it at home after listening back and making various tweaks to improve the flow. I'm quite happy with the result! 

Shout outs to my good friend Pressing from San Francisco for turning me on to "Aqualung" by Spooky, which can be heard in this set."
